fixing oil leak

just wonder if anyone has any suggestions or things i may need to know, i intend on fixing a year old oil leak tonight on my ga16de, i already replaced the oil pan gasket and verified its not coming from there but it is on that side, so im gonna replace valve cover and all main seals, read the haynes manual about 6 times on how to do this, any help would be grately appreciated thx dudes

Strange, you haven't managed to locate where it comes from? Check the breather tubes on the block as well and the oil sending unit to make sure those are all sealed up tight.

yeah i had it for a year and the oil was so caked on and the whole engine was coverd in grim, also the guy who sold it to me said he paid someone to fix it but it still leaked..... i dunno why i didnt just clean it first and see where it was from but i fixed it :P
