Any suggestions to how to fix carpet mats with matted spots?

Can you post pics of your floor mats? The the matting is very bad due to high use, you may just need to replace the mats. Consider the Nissan All-weather mats. :yesnod

I have WeatherTech floor mats. Although they're a bit pricey, they're worth it. Also, I'd suggest using a powerful rug cleaner/washer vacuum on the regular mats. If that doesn't work, at least they'll be clean...
