well after a 3 week long battle with overheating i fixed it... it was the vacuums going through the egr... a guy that helped looked at the egr diagram and thought it looked funny and took out the Y and T connectors... it turned out that the the diagram was for a 93' and up KA and not a 91'... so i found the right one and put it together right...

The thing that puzzles me is how would wrong vacuum line connections cause a car to overheat?

and how come u could just completely disconnect the EGR wen u go turbo and not have this overheating problem?

EGR is there strictly for emissions. Nothing else. And you won't over heat by taking it off

Maybe your thermostat was stuck.. and decided to free up because it got hot at that point. Im sure its strictly coincidence somehow there is no way the emissions system can cause any type of overheating whatsoever.
