Well i fixed my sputtering problem at full boost with colder plugs. I took the car for a test drive that turn into pushing it to make sure the problem was solved which it was. well since the boost wasnt blowing out the spark it was ablw to boost an extra psi or so. of course the one time i wasnt lookin at my egt gauge i must have ran lean and all i hear is POP. engine starts to stutter keeps shuting down and nice puffs of black smoke coming out of the exhuast. i was able to limp it back to my aunts garage where i do all my work.
in no way shoudl be be blamed on the strenght of the engine. its simply me running out of fuel. it was boost a good 10psi prob hit 11 or 12 when it blew. my fuel system consisted of a walbro 255lph pump with a 7:1 FMU,thats it. it was teh deltagate that was lettin it boost so high. i turned out the adjustment screw all i could but it didnt do anything. i was in the process of gettin a tial but i did get it soon enough.
all in all its ok. it jsut forces me to put in my built engine now while its still nice out instead of in the winter when its 30 degrees in my garage. i should be up again by maybe november since i have to send off my ecu to get retuned by jwt for 740cc injectors. im should be pikcin up a wrecked 95 tomorrow to get a 5spd swap form and part out the rest of it. it has decent suspension and wheels plus some other nice stuff. ill keep eveyone updated.
