Hey Guys im new to the forums. Here is the solution I found for the car not wanting to accelerate.
Here is a link to the video showing my problem

Here is the Problem fixed

What it ended up being was a Dirty mass airflow sensor. You might be thinking iv tried this but it took three cans of the spray to finally fix it. I also did the Air and Fuel filters The car runs just like the others in the stable. Hope this helps!

That's definitely how it's supposed to accelerate in the second video! It's a bit surprising it took so much MAF cleaner to work, though. What octane fuel do you run?

I'd adjust the accelerator wire on your mechanical throttle body equipped Pathfinders (01 & 02) if you notice any slack at all - see FE-3 of the factory service manual for instructions. Be sure to adjust the cruise wire the same way, but turn back the adjusting nut 0.5 to 1.0 turns rather than 1.5 to 2.0 turns as with the accelerator wire adjustment.

Welcome to NICO!

Thanks for the welcome! I usually Run 83 but I put mid grade in just to see. I did adjust the throttle and that improved pedal feel but the main fix was the Mass airflow sensor. BTW I had no codes what soever so it was trial and error. The mileage on the car is 175,300. and i just got it.

83 octane? That seems dreadfully low - I hope you meant 93. :)

I don't know where you're located, so be aware of the relatively recent strut housing recall. You have three R50s now, so I'd imagine you would be familiar with it already. :)

Also consider applying threadlocker to the power valve screws on all three PFs to prevent potential engine damage.

Yes i checked and the most recent purchase has the sealent put on it. My red dosent and is just starting to show I will get that done when i get the seatbelsts replaced. Thread locker hmm... im debating it. and yes unfortanatly I put sub par fuel in it Top Quality though... cant really afford to put premium in 4 cars.

I removed your double post.

I'd say it's no big deal about running 87 in a Pathfinder with the VQ35. It will tolerate it just fine.

There have been three or four owners of R50s in the past couple months that have had engine damage as a result of a power valve screw coming loose. It's worth the price of the gaskets and several hours of your time to preemptively apply threadlocker.

Be sure to purchase a Maxima MAF which is significantly cheaper than the $442 Pathfinder MAF. The Maxima MAF will work with the VQ35DE in the Pathfinder; many users have had success with it.

I was planning on it but what year models MAF are applicable to a 01 pathfinder?

The one I linked (http://www.courtesyparts.com/mass-air-f ... 80270.html) will work with 2001 R50s.
