- when i keep the vac/boost gauge at 0 i can redline it, i dump into the next gear, aslong as i roll into it, it still can be redlined, but the SECOND get into boost and hit 5 psi, it coughs and puffs black smoke and goes into a rich condition

- My intake system is 1000% free of leaks,

- My Vacuum system is 1000% free of leaks

- when i disconnect the wastegate (tie it open) the car runs fine, redlines fine and drives just like it should NA, no torque, but it still runs

- When there is no load on the engine, i can rev it and it will generate boost, it will boost up to 5 psi, the boost gauge will bounce back and forth to 0psi and it will shoot black smoke out the exhaust, rpms break up and bounce all over the place

Specs are as follows.

Redtop SREcu has a daughter board, but i am not runnign it because ive gone back to stock.Starion FMICRecirc'd bovKA24E mafsZ32 fuel filter3 inch exhauststock KA fuel pump (pressure is within spec) (although gunna put a z32 in to make sure its not the problem)

It seems to have cold start problems aswell, it will make a wirrrr sound then start, after 3 or for times then it starts fine.

Next for the vidsin this one you can see the boost gauge cutting in and out at 5 psi, it backfires and shakes the whole car.

in this one you can see me holding the vac/boost gauge at 0psi, then running up to where the wastegate cracks, then shifting and having it break up on me again

The following has been replaced.

Mafs x 2all charge piping x2BOVCTSTPS

All sensors check out as per the FSM's voltages. I cannot check codes on my ECU, cuz my potentiometer is busted.

Also i know there is a jumper on the back of the ecu, but i cant switch the jumper, cus when i do, it barley runs atall

what the hell is going on with my car, i dont think ive had this many problems with any vehicle ive ever driven, im so close to buying a KA24E and putting it back.

well....looks like i owe myself money.

i did some puttering all day today and checked my fuel pressure, turned out to be way low (29 psi, stock KA pump)

i went to the yard, sick of not haveing my power band, and i stole a pump out of a V6 Nissan pathfinder. i modified the ka's housing, the pathy's sock to fit the stock tank. took a pressure test and i had between 45- 50 psi. woot.

Also picked up a mafs aswell and replaced that too.

then i took it for a rip, its running rich (obv) and it still kinda bogs out, but sounds more like its ignition now (kinda machine gun like, but barley noticeable.) i was also able to hit 7 psi and hold it. woot.

small victory, considering i am still running around 11-13 InHg at idle so ive still got a leak somewheres.
