My car slowly/sometimes leaks through the plastic piece above the rear view mirror, but if I push up on it, it will stop leaking. Should I just replace the plastic piece running across the top? If so, where should I look and what exactly is it called?

Also, Im looking to replace my top, where is the best place to look for that? I googled some places and the price was 700+ and then I looked on ebay and it was 179 for a vinyl top, sounds too cheap.

Thanks guys!

That piece isn't produced by anyone that I know of. May have to find custom place or rig with silicone or something.

Don't do vinyl. Topsonline.com should be around $400. Place on Country Club Rd installed mine for $300.

Can also look around for people who have tops they aren't going to use. Check a few pages back on the FS/WTB sticky thread.

There should be no water leaking into the car through the windshield frame interior trim. Double check your top to make sure it's not leaking there, or that the weather stripping across the top of the windshield frame isn't all jacked.

I'd really like a shot at that top and back plastic. I just registered on here so I can't send PM's yet, but I hope I can receive and if I can you would send me one.
