Totaled 240sx part it out, or sell as is??? PLEASE HELP!!

On Friday I had the front end of my cherry 96 240sx ripped off by a red light running Excursion. I tried to add a photo on here and haven't figured that out, if anyone can help with that I'd appreciate it. It has been totaled by the ins co, it still runs but the frame was compromised.....what to do, what to do? I'm the second owner and had it for 11 years and just put 5k into it. Not sure if I should try to sell as is or part it out. I could use some advice right now. Thanks!

Load them on Photobucket or something, copy the IMG code and paste it into your post here

you can use the facebook image codes too. just right click on whichever photo you wanna use, copy the image address, then reply on here, use the image code and paste the address into the middle

id probably part it out, not a lot of people like body especially frame damage. you get any insurance money? combine that with the money from parting it out and buy another 240

if you have time on your hands, start stripping the car, remove everything thats salvageable no matter how trivial you may think the part is, clean em up and list them for sale here in the classifieds.
then haul the shell or whats left to the scrap yard with the title, sign it to them and theyll pay you for the weight of it, not much but its somthing, and im sure youll make more from selling individual parts then you would the whole thing. it'll just take time.

Looks fixable (probably require new/used parts including rad support maybe). But can't see frame from those pics, so can't be sure.

Insurance will 99% 'total' it. But you can get a settlement and buy the car back from them if you wanted.

ehh its a good hit, but someone looking to cut and tub and that can weld that is fixable. If you werent in Denver I'd offer to buy it. Try to sell it as is first.

I live in Portland, OR and the ins guy said both sides of the frame were bent. I just put so much money into it and really want to get the most out of it.

find another s14, maybe a shell and swap all your good/new stuff over and sell what you dont need/want. you wont get anything for the car the way it is.

Yeah, depending on how much they want for me to buy it back I think I'll sell it to a friend who will part it out. I just don't have the time, space or know how. I feel like there's been a death in the family, it's just so sad.

I would absolutely recommend a part out, but it can be difficult unless your friend will loan you some garage space for a couple weekends to strip it down. It's only nuts and bolts..dont be scared, you might even learn something from this.
