thats actually a common issue...its possible to send the ecu out for a repair..but verry costly..would be cheeper to buy a new one..but before you go wasting money..check your injector wires for a short somewhere that might be hitting a hot wire..like a rub throu..do a good job of looking as you might just burn another ecu up if ya dont at least make shure thats not the issue.

True, cheaper to just buy a used replacement. I've got one if you need one, just PM me.

so i rewired the whole 12 volt side of the injector harness when i did the single cam to dual cam engine swap, i checked it all out and it is all good, the ground side wiring is also good, i checked continuity through the 4 ground wires. now my question is, what actually causes driver failure? i was probing ground wires at the ecu to see if they al went to ground and a few of them didnt, i found a broken ground wire bolted to the side of the engine block and it tied into t he wires i wasnt getting ground through. my other question is, is it possible to blow the drivers by having a non-existent ground coming from the ecu? does anyone have a picture of what the drivers look like inside the ecu? i tried to follow the circuits but it went so many different directions. Thanks
