fitting on the maf??? need help

ok ive spent atleast 5 hours online trying to find out what this fitting is for. i have a sr20det maf, and it has a fitting (like for a vaccum line) on the side below the plug. am i supposed to use it, or block it off, or leave it be?

please help. im a couple of hours away from gettin this thing running.

thats custom some one probably running a gauge to thereCap it off, and you'll be fine
