I went to pick up these suburban rims, bolt pattern matches up, I got the lug nuts for it. I put it on, drove around and it was fine so i bought it, I go on the highway, and then as soon as i get some speed I got this crazy vibration. Older rims never did it, so it's not the tie rods (checked them also) ball joints or alignment. I took it to the shop and they told me "I don't even wanna touch it" because the rims just don't fit they say, and it's unsafe to drive. I believe I've seen D21 with these rims before...

Shouldn't I be fine if lugnuts fill the hole on the suburban rims perfectly, and still go on the stud thus centering the rim on the hub perfectly? despite the size difference in main hole in the middle of the rim (what's it called.... bore? not sure) and the hub? The front tires were, very feathered so this could've been the reason why hmmm any suggestions?

The rims will have to go to a machine shop to be bored out so they fit properly over the hubs. At this point, unmodified, they are not sitting flush against the hubs.

This clears up the question of why no-one seems to have wheels that 'fit' these trucks, despite having the same bolt-pattern as the GM's, Yotas, etc.
