I have a set of G20t wheels (see pic) and was thinking of putting them on my '91 240sx. The wheels are very similar to my stock 7 spokes, however when I measured the backspacing on the two I came up withe 4 7/8" on the 7 spokes vs. 5 1/16" on the G20t wheels. Can the difference be made up with a spacer? If so what sizes do they come in and where is a good place to purchase them? Also, what are the issues with lug nut engagment and durability when useing spacers in this kind of set up? Any help or advice would be great.

those wheels look EXACTLY like my 180sx wheels. are there two different styles of g20t wheels? isn't the g20t wheel supposed to have a lip?

anyways, mine fit and look fine with 205/55 tires. no spacers needed. they sit in the same spot as the stock wheel.

Yes, they look the same. . . but they aren't. I was hoping they would be, and this was wishful thinking of course seeing as how the G20 is a FWD car. The offset is different from the stock 240sx wheel, which is why I thought of using a spacer. Of course I allready have 15'" wheels that don't need spacers, so there is really no benifit in putting these on my car. I was just hoping someone would be able to tell me if it could actualy be done, and what the drawbacks might be.

I had those exact same looking ones off a G20 and was using it on my fastback. It's gonna be sunken in since it's from a FWD but to answer your question, yes it'll fit

This is an interesting problem...just keep it on the down low.
