Fitting Digital Gauge +HUD Cluster to 200sx s13.

Hi i bought a digital gauge and hud from ebay to replace my standed one but when i came to fit it i found that the contactors on the back of the gauges are different to my wiring lom. Do you need a separete harness to fit the gauge on my 200sx s13?

Can anyone help please?

Make sure that your gauge cluster came with a subharness, because analog and digital obviously don't interchange. If you do have the harness and have trouble plugging it into your body harness, please note that its a black connector towards the center of the dash support bar. You can't miss it.

did your car have HUD from the factory or not....to utilize the HUD and digital gauge, you do need the sub harness...and a HUD windshield as well if it was non HUD from the factory

the car has got standed analog dials at the sec just trying to fit digital ones.It came with a harness but it dosn't match the standed loom in my car.

Did you remove the harness that was on the back of the original cluster completely, and try to connect the HUD harness to the plugs way back in the dash? Thats what you have to do. I would recommend being a little drunk, as it can be a test of patience and skill. You have to mangle your hand.

And in regards to Koshin, no you do not need the HUD windshield. Mine works fine without it. A little bit of glare at night, but I understand you can just purchase the little strip, or just use some plastic wrap or something if it really bothers you.
