fitting a 89 lip to a 93 bumper???

I just recieved an 89 lip and i was wondering what i had to make it fit?? I assumed it would be a direct bolt on but the screws are mounted differently...

You gotta get "custom" with it. Make your own mounting holes.

Ok, here is how I did it. I had a stock SE lip, so if you don't have that, this will be no help.

The stock SE "lip" (more like a black line under the front bumper) has a reinforcement bar that mounts on the plastic bumper. YOu will see it. It is about 3 feet long and slightly curved. You have to take that as it has threaded studs bonded/welded to it. I cut those apart (as the holes already in the bumper and lip are the same size) and use those. Kinda hard to imagint I guess unless you are in there. I knew I should have taken pics. You will figure something out, but no: it is not a bolt on! I thought it was as well. Took me like 3 hours to get the damn thing on Looks killer tho!

you just have some friends hold the zenki lip on the car while you get a drill and drill holes in the bumper where all the mounting holes in the lip are, then zip tie it on there.

Wouldn't it look better if it went on the front part? Like how it should be... like the zenki.....

oh alright... i got it thanks for the help... and yeah i do have that se lip....
