Aight yall...i fitted my t04e and stainless tubular today. i'll have pics in a lil while as soon as my friend sends them to me. it looks DAMN good with the stainless and polished turbo, even with the polished valve cover. we had to shave off some of the motor mount to make it fit though :(, but **** WHO NEEDS a motor mount anyways?? lol. we still have a ways to go. i'll keep yall updated. still hafta do the wastegate pipe and extend downpipe. also, we have to saw-zaw the t25 flange off the manifold and put a t3 on. it seems easy, but this manifold is strong as hell. get atcha fellas later!!~Scott

Was the reason for cutting the motor mount to let the manifold clear the steering shaft? How much did you have to cut? Were there any negative effects after doing it?

Were they NISMO or stock mounts? I hear the NISMO mounts make the engine sit a little higher.

we didn't necessarily "cut" the motor mount..we had to shave a lil bit of it because the turbo was hitting it. it wouldnt' fit unless we shaved it. it is a t04e housing, so the turbo is pretty big. we are using the kmd exhaust manifold w/the t3 flange. it came out real nice. we're not done (taking our time on it). i used the stock motor mounts. i have had the engine in for a year and a half and its never been a prob. i have just enough clearance though...kinda scary. i was about an eighth of an inch from losing a motor mount one way and another eighth from losing my a/c altogether (i am gonna put my a/c back in before spring time, cuz summer here in SC is HOT as hell). lata.
