Fitted clutch, engages very sharply :(((

Fitted my Spec Stage1 clutch. It's completely organic, not so far from stock. It engages very sharply - during about 1.5cm of pedal movement... What can be the reason?

Was it fitted incorrectly, or what???? Can it be adjusted somehow? City driving is very hard... Almost stalled few times...

you may just have to get used to the new pressure plate.thats how it was when i got my excedy stage 1, except its not that sharp

In what way? In manual there's procedure to adjust height and freeplay - what do I need?
