I never though my o2 sensor would be a problem... just loosely bolting things together my o2 sensor hits my manifold! keep in mind i have to have my turbo face the opposite way the rwd setups are, IE: exhaust side is towards the timing cover.

Dont tell me I have to go get some special o2 sensor or get one of those autochrome dump pipes?? This issue may have been run into by another fwd ca guy, any ideas? if the o2 sensor didnt have its wire coming out straight i could prolly sneak it by... but it might get burnt...?

Damn, it looks as though im going to have to have a custom dump pipe made... most of those ones i see online would just go in place of a rwd dump which puts the outlet on top of my front lower rad support.

Second picture is another o2 sensor i bought hopeing it would fit... but then i noticed how bad the angle of the dump pipe is so i took that o2 back and am currently gonna use my standard Bosch one. Boost boy or any other fwd turbo guys have any advice about this issue?

Is this a RWD motor you're converting to FWD? Nissan made the CA18DET in FWD form in multiple chassis's, I don't understand what's different about your setup that you're having clearance issues.

This is a ca18det in my fwd pulsar. Last time i had it running i had the turbo rotated and clocked so the compressor houseing towards the t-belt cover, like it comes on your setups :)
There never was a ca18det fwd... there was an awd setup but i cant find the dump pipe for one of those.

I said FWD meaning longitudinally mounted. I'd try and get a hold of Dee. Honestly, the stock O2 pipe is horribly restrictive (one of the most restrictive parts of the exhaust) and I would recommend buying aftermarket, or having one made.
