Ok i got a 95 S14 lowered on sportlines and agx's. My rear wheels are at -2.6 and the fronts at like -1.9...Anyway when reading another post i realized that since my negitive camber could affect what offsets would work, etc since the top of the wheel is closer to the strut...My buddy is selling his 17x8 TSW Hockenheim R Wheels with +40 offset off his talon tsi...now i'm pretty sure most wheels that fit DSM's fit 240's but i dunno if the offset is gonna be ok or not with the camber or if i'm just paranoid...i know everyone hates "will these fit" posts but can someone help me out?

I can't comment on the camber part of your question, but I'm pretty sure you are going to need at least a 5mm or 10mm spacer just to get the wheels to fit at all assuming the bolt pattern is correct.

That sucks, so they need be around 35mm for a 8in wheel?

More like +30, or maybe even lower. Tire Height (exact from tread block to tread block and not from the ground to top of tire) * Cos of camber angle = amount the tire sinks into the fender due to camber.

Well i'll just have to test fit them first...any idea how much they're worth? They got some curb scratches and stuff...250? 300? more?

those offsets suck.

they don't belong on a 240.

find some other wheels.

At least +25 for an 8".

I decided to learn the offset thing once and for all...someone check my math;

Stock wheel is (6.5") wide and +40mm offset, the TSW is (8") wide with the same offset. So there's (1.5") difference in width. According to the FAQ when two wheels of different widths have the same offset the difference is distributed evenly on both sides. So (1.5")/(2")=(0.75") is how much it will go in towards the strut. (0.75")=(20mm) Now i'm certain the stock wheel isn't very close to the strut since i'm running a 215 tire on a (6.5") wheel and the buldge on the sidewall gotta be (0.5") and my rear camber is crazy and no rubbing. So at most i'll need a 5-10mm spacer to make it fit and a stretched tire...someone just give me the peace of mind that it "should" fit!

you don't need stretched tire on a wheel 8" or smaller. as it is, a 215 tire is almost square on an 8."

and you'll need a 5-10mm spacer to 'make it clear.' you're forgetting that it will be so far in the fender, it will look like you are trying to keep them from getting stolen by hiding them in the fender.

An 8" wheel on an S chassis should be +15-20 to fit easily, +0 offset is for hotness flush.

back to stretched tire. the only reason you need hipari tire is when the car is so low, and the wheels are so flush that a squared tire would rub the fenders and adding more camber is not an option.

But with a 10mm spacer the wheel would be out 10mm more than the 20mm it would already be out from where the stock wheel is now...so it would be 30mm or 1 1/8" out further that the ones on there now. I absolutly hate my wheels, my buddy is gonna give me 150can for them and i'm getting these for 400can. So for 250canadian, probaly like 150-175US i can have some nice looking 17's...i can't afford anything more cause i gotta get tires and i'm attempting a KA-T project. I'd love something else but i don't have any options, can't afford new, can't find used anywhere near me besides honda or vw wheels and shipping wheels to the far corner of canada isn't cheap! Sigh, what is a boy to do...

huge spacers then if you're so dead set on buying them. 25mm spacer would work.
