Depends on where you buy it, anywhere from 3000-3500 for a complete engine. Suspension upgrades and exhaust are always nice.

Because they have to be taken out of a car in Japan, paid for customs at that end, shipped over here, paid for customs on this end, shipped to the shop, checked out, then shipped to the buyer. Also, the Japanese don't do much bartering, and its not exactly cheap to get stuff over here. Its only 1000 dollars more than a S13 engine. 3200 is not expensive for a S14 SR20 thats 100% complete.

S14 is a newer engine, it goes into the S14 chasis easier.

Some bugs were worked out of the ECU.

Larger Turbo.

I have been told, different cams.

Low Port Injection versus High Port on the S13.

Thats about it.

Ok listn.... i was driveing down the main road... and i wanted to see what my car has got... so... i flored it..... 1,2,3 was perfect..but once i went to the 4 thousand rpm mark... it stop pulln.... like.... it didnt go anymore.... it wouldnt go past it... all teh other gears do but 4th... 5th works fine as well... so.. did i burn my clutch or.... do i need a tune up... ( i just baught thsi car 6 days ageo.. ) IT does need a tune up but.... just woundering whats goin on...:help
