Hey guys I’ve been reading on this forum for about a half a year and have learned alot about cars and the a/c. Previously knowing nothing about cars this has been a great help. Anyways this is my first time writing on the forum and I am most likly going to pre order a 2.5 manual in march so I can have it at the beginning of may when im back home. Even though I would obviously like the 270 hp of the 3.5 my financial situation as a college student is not realistic to do that. Any ways do u guys think it would be worth me looking into say an exhaust or air intake for a 2.5? I’m personally looking for a nice growl and alil boost of power if I could. What are your opinions about what would be the best way to add the growl and hopefully the boost of hp for a 2.5s and the if you could write about the differences of the two. Thanks guys.

Hum..if you want growl from a 2.5S, the intake won't cut it. Since the 2.5S has a raspier tone you'll have to change the resonator and possibly invest in a new catback exhaust system.

Instead of taking a 2.5S with a package, why don't you just take a 3.5SE 6MT bare minimum. you can add the after market leather seats , NAV or HIDs later if you want, it'll cost you a lot less than the nissan packages and you'll HAVE the delicious VQ engine, which Is a lot loss trouble than an engine swap if you get the 2.5S. You'll thank yourself every day
