i went and looked @ my motor today .. redtop sr20det.. what do u all think the best things to buy first r other than 3 inch exhuast downpipe.. maybe turbo timer .. boost gauge.. controller...frontmount.. ???

The only things that most of us do standard are the intake, downpipe, and an upgraded fuel pump (300ZX or Walbro unit). You might as well spring for the turbo timer since its usually less than $100 and very easy to install. FMIC isnt neccessary unless you didnt initially recieve a SMIC. And if you do decide to up the boost then pick up an aftermarket BOV since the stock recirculation valve wont hold much boost after 7 psi.

thanks man how much can u get one of those 300 fuel pumps for ?? u get the one off the TT right ..

Yes you want the Twin Turbo pump. But I've been quoted pretty high at wrecking yards for one. They said something like 130 dollars. I am just going to get a brand new Walbro pump.

let me get this strait, all you have is the engine and downpipe?assuming you got a engine packege you also need a wire harness recut $100-300. If your old engine mounts are worn (which they probably are) you need new ones $235-270. there are also a zillion other things unless you want to have a bone stock engine :sad . Id say go all out while the engine is out of the car, or at least thats my way of doing things ( stuff like turbo manifolds clutches flywheels and such are a B I TCH to do when the engine is in the car.

i was planning on gettin a few more things before it went in .. downpipe exhaust etc.... but i was just askin that ... . i have a 97 w/ like 85000 miles on it r my motor mounts messed up or does it take the mounts that r on the sr to do that .?? i am just learnin all the sr stuff thanks for the help ..

My 95 has 85000 miles on it and I will end up using whichever mounts are in the best shape. But for the record my KA mounts are in fine shape.
