I finally took the time to drag my girlfriend along to take some video of the car in action. Not anything too spectacular and I'm pretty disappointed in the sound capture of the camera we were using. The exhaust sounds way better than the buzzing that it sounded like and the cabin is quite a bit louder and deeper than what comes through. Anybody have any ideas for fixing that other than buying a different camera? Any techies?

This is also my first run at movie maker so don't laugh at me too loud.

Hey Spazz, where are you at? Twin Cities? Man, we're getting enough RB swapped 240s here in the midwest to get a pretty decent meet together this spring.

Spazz - I'm definitely going to come up in the spring or summer and hopefully bring cdorhout with me to do some windy road driving. I need to buy one of those headrest camera mounts to capture some of that video too. Gorgeous country up there.

Chaos - I have an engine bay video when my lifters weren't bled on initial startup and it makes your hair stand on end it sounds so bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrlJMbuTKJg

okay 10k rpms it is, but let me do some head work first. That will be on the list for winter 2008. Holy christ would that scream! And I still need to map out a turbo to shoot for 22-24 psi. If my damned girlfriend would make more money to pay the rent, I'd get things together faster. Anybody interested in me pimping her out??? She's high dollar though, so you better be a baller

Did you do the oil mods to the block and get a collar on it? I was j/k about the 10k rpm lol.

Yes and yes, but I did not do the external drains in the back of the head. I did block off one oil orifice and insert the Tomei 1.5mm orifice in the other, not the VTC orifice though. Left that alone as is recommended by the Aussie guys.

Man I have way too much stuff to list for the amount of motivation I have right now but I'll try. Basically GTR rods, CP pistons (86mm), King Bearings, JUN crank collar, N1 oil pump, OEM water pump, Tomei valve springs, HKS cams, oil orifice mods, stock fuel/turbo/intercooler/intake manifold, PFC w/boost control kit, Apexi GT spec exhaust, McKinney DP, test pipe, Whiteline rear sway bar, TopHat mounts, Permacool fans (pushers), and a DieHard battery .

I have pics of the oil passages and orifice, etc. but they are on my work computer and I am 100% sure I won't go to work until Tuesday. I'll try to follow up and post some pics then. As far as blocking the middle oil passage, there are several ways to do it. I simply hammered a slug that I had the machine shop make down into the block. Other people have tapped the hole and put an actual screw-type plug in. After doing it once and rethinking things, I would tap the hole and screw in a plug to be assured that it won't end up popping out and ending up in the oil feed to your lifters.
