First upgrade?

Was just curious to see what you guys upgraded first on your 240's and why. Thought it would be interesting to see what kicked off some of these builds.

My first "upgrade" was the 5 speed swap. I did it because it had to be done lol. Changed the whole car's personality.

Replaced all my filters, got better tires, put on a Jonnie Fraz Tension brace (same thing as a Nismo powerbrace).

A tuneup and fixing broken things. Everybody skips the basics and goes for the flash stuff first.

I assumed by upgrade he meant first non-repair work that was done.

hmmm, first ever work I did to my car was replacing the blown KA with a nice, running KA.

Going for the flash first is easy cause you can see where your money is going. But I agree, maintenance does need to come first. What I was trying to go for was better than stock.

First purchases for my S13 were coilovers, ruca's, and tension rods

because they were blown..

I think i ordered them the day after i bought the car too, lol
