Hi,

I'am planning on swaping a ca18det into my 1990 240sx 5 speed (have engine and trans thanks to dee). Can I use my new Center force clutchand Fidanza flywheel out of my transmission now and put it in the ca18det 5 speed? Thanks for all the help.

Bruce

You may have to remove one of the dowel pins to get it to fit though. The flywheel is a no-go...

Damn. My old post about how I did it was lost in the move it seems. It is dark and cold here now (not as cold as it is there I bet) but if no one can get you the correct info on it, I can unwrap my connections and look tomorrow.

BTW: You need a KA24E MAF. If you don't have one, I have one that I can let go for cheap.

That would be appreciated, I have a KA24E AFM already.

I got tired of the MAFS questions so it's in the FAQ now. I think I'm the only person who knows how to search sometimes...

The problem with us was never a lack of love. He is just a tool

Hey Ryan, you goin to the NICO National meet? I am. I wanna meet you and slap you in the back of the head, then run away because you will more than likely be carrying a Rico Whoopin Stick.

LMAO! I love you guys, and I am tool, but they made me mod, so what are you gonna do? Yea, I'm gonna be at the meet. I don't know if my suspension will all be up to par, but the motor and transmission should be working like new. I'm hoping to have it back on the road shortly after I get my tax returns back.

That was for z32 to ca18det. I need to ka24e maf. On the CA ecu, I believe pin 37(green with yellow) will not be used. I plan on putting black to black and black/white to black/white and (CA)black and green to (KA)white. This combination works.

From my SR car running KA24E MAF black is ground, black with white stripe is 12V and the white is signal. On the CA18DET the green with black is the signal.
