Yeah, pretty much that's how my set up is (Intake, exhaust, 3 puck clutch, Gizzmo reprogramed ECU, and a bov) and I haven't been up to my track yet so I was wondering what I might run. I was guessing 14's too but hoping for low 14's...(My swap isn't even done, 99% though, all I need is a harness...)

My first run was a 14.6@98mph as well with the tires breaking free and no lsd. I eventually ran a 13.9@103mph on my second run when I let some of the air out of the tires. Good job, and 14.6s is normal for a light modded CA.

damn 14.6 at stock boost:eek:

I wonder what I would run when I ran 15 psi on the stock sidemount, stock SR downpipe to 3" exhaust.

I know I did beat a mustang that did high 13's and smoked a 99-00 hatch with a type r motor who said he ran 14.4

I popped the head gasket for running that amount of boost on the side mount.

Headgasket is getting replaced with a tomei 1.2 mm one, getting 440 injectors, S14 SR T28, AFC-2, big *** FMIC, race clutch, wider tires and 3" downpipe.

Im going to run 15-17 psi and im hoping for a really really low 13 to high 12 :D

Havent taken the head off yet. Car still ran perfect, I just keep loosing coolant on the exhaust side by the turbo. No oil in the coolant or vice versa.

So now im going to do things right instead of half-assed.

Hey Dee,

I dont know if I remember correctly, but didnt you say before that the ARP headbolts dont fit correctly. The top I mean.

Im going to be replacing the headgasket soon and I was debating on getting new stock head bolts or ARP.

What headgaskets do you use? And how much? I'll probably end up ordering a HG thru you or something.

I talked to the folks at ARP and they want me to return the 6 point nuts that they sent me and they'll send me some 12 point units that require a smaller socket. I'm using a NISMO headgasket in my built engine and using the stock headgasket that came with the motor in my girl's CA. I also have a 2mm copper unit that I'm saving if the NISMO piece can't take it (which I seriously doubt).

No extra gasket on hand as that one was saved for a rainy day, but if you need a copper one, it came from a company called "ridgecrest" in Australia and info can be found on them via a simple net search. Likie I said a while ago, all of these parts except the NISMO H/G came in a care package from Malaysia.Quote »Sorry Dee, I've been bad. Will you spank me? I mean... The NISMO gasket cost me around $280 about 3 years ago. It's been just sitting and awaitng me to get started and that time has come. They're probably a bit cheaper now, but don't look for them to be too cheap as they probably are somewhat rare now.
