Whats up with this MAF? With or without a MAF the car should idle fine and rev to 2500. Is the IACV open enough? Is the vacuum line going to the IACV kinked? Sounds lame, but I actually had that happen to me. I couldn't start the f***ing thing for a week. Turned out the damn vac line going to the IACV had a nice kink, but it was "hidden in plain site" so I missed it.
I didn't know that it could idle fine and rev up to 2500rpms without the MAFS. So now I know it isn't that

I'll check the IACV and the vac line as soon as I get the snow cleared off.

How can I tell if the IACV is open enough. I went out and checked but I couldn't really figured it out.

if you're running stock injectors and a stock maf, the only thing i can think would be leaking injectors. pull the fuel rail but leave the fuel lines hooked up, now put a rag or a peice of cardboard under the rail. turn the key to the "run" position (do not crank the car) just enough to prime the fuel pump. leave sit for a few min and then go check the rag and see if theres any fuel on it. you have to start with one thing at a time and slowly rule out the obvious.

you said you had to rewire something, what did you rewire and why? im asking because you said you have stock maf and no tune.

I already checked the injectors and none of them are leaking.

I had to rewire the MAFS because two of the wires had bare spots that touched and it burnt the wire and fried my ECU. I replaced the ECU and fixed the wiring. I also checked the whole harness and made sure nothing else was burnt.

The last time when I started it after I cleaned the plugs and changed the oil, it idled alot better and didn't die, but whenever I hit the throttle, it would. Is it possible my timing could be off

Also, I'm using NGK BKR6ES-11 plugs. Should I go a step colder down.

Has the car ever driven good since being turbo'd? Have you checked for boost leaks/vac leaks?

6's are hotter than 7's. I just did some searching and found out 6's are ok for low boost.

it wouldnt hold idle if ur timing was off by a tooth or would idle horribly. sounds like over fueling when you say oil smells like fuel. is the maf going in the right direction on your pipe? is the maf wired correctly?

has anyone suggested a fuel pressure regulator? ive had one go out with similar symtoms, as long as you can keep it running with partial throttle id give it a try. GL
