First Time Drifting

well i went out today in my CA18 S13 w/ open diff and tried to drift in an abandoned parking lot. first few minutes i didn't do so hot, but then i got the hang of it and was started to get better, now i have the drift bug lol just need a bit more practice. but hey, there was smoke and i was sideways so i can't complain.

somehow my windsheild wipers came on and got stuck in the "up" position? lol idk what the hell happened there.

lol sounds like you had fun, an LSD will make a night and day difference from the open diff.

just be careful, safety is number one.

and a big no no to me for drifting a mini traffic circle in the middle of no where. from now on its open parking lots (im talkin huge parking lots like costcos or someplace where theres nothing to hit for miles. or of course the track.

i'd like to be flammed/congrated loli dont go anywhere near curbs (bad passed experiences..) or other drivers.fixed the windsheild wipers, but next time, im removing the fuse for them

now i just need a rear diff, probably a VLSD..anybody got any good recommendations? what are the gear ratios in the JDM VLSD compared to some other ones?

theres lots of differentials to choose from (well not that many). but theres the j30 vlsd. um q45. s15 helical. silvia/180sx s13 vlsd. thats about all that i can think of off the top of my head.

Grand Am + snow X curb = chipped rim and bent control arm lol i'll try and get of video on here sometime. it sucks because there is rarely any tracks i can go on to drift:(

cool. I would say get an lsd. So far its tha best upgrade i put on my car. I got a j30 diff from tha junkyard for 60. My only complaint is that it took a little torque away, but hey, it's not an open diff tho. haha
