It was an interesting day and a safe way to get rid of building adrenaline. Unfortunately (for some of those muscle cars that is) I will not be drag racing anymore. Due to my relocated battery I must rig up an outside kill switch but since my car is a street car I don't want to do that. I just wanted to see what the car would do. I'll stick to auto X.

I raced 5 times the cars were a old 60's Chevelle SS, an old 70's (i think) camaro, a basically stock 240, a 5.0 Mustang, a new Neon SRT-4. Fortunately I was able to beat them all.

My best time was a 13.775 @102.57. My fatsest trap speed was a 103.31 when I ran the camero. I totally bogged the motor aginst the camero and he jumped ahead by .2 seconds but I reeled him in and took him in the end. It feels awsome when you start to pull on a big V8 what all you have is a 2 liter.

That was against the 5.0 Mustang who ran a 14.080 @ 97.02

I wish I was able to use the 300ZXTT wheels that I had in my garage but the 5 lug swap is needed first. I didn't launch very hard at all, in fact the time that I bogged the start against the camaro I still ran a 13.8 at 103. So with good launches I believe this is a 13.5 car.

I was running 92 octane pump gas and .9 bar for boost

Whoa Ace that is very nice indeed, you have a lot of work into that SR imo. Those 195 tires aren't exactly helping either, getting some meatier ones and stickier ones and you will do much better, also your 60' s if you can get them down to 2 flat or better you will be low, low 13's. Good job.

Hey I know you from NWN. I am FullRunS14 on there. Anyway if you read the bottom of my first post you would see that I have some 300ZX TT wheels which are 16x7.5 in the front on 225/50/16 and 16x8.5 in the rear on 245/45/16 I just need to swap to a 5 lug hub before I can mount them. Yeah I did have a fun time doing some dragging. So a good mix of auto x and dragging would be nice. Later

Very nice! Hopefully I will be able to turn some similar times. Except I will be running an s14 Sr @ 10psi until I can get some bigger injectors.Yeah, just get something wider in the rear with DOT drag radials and you'll be in at least mid 13's
