First Time At Track

I went to the track this past sunday for the first time. I was driving my 93 Coupe. Has Shogun Kit (extra weight) 17" Rims..The only performance upgrade i have is 4.6 Nismo Gears.

R/T - 1.2138 (Sleepin...Be Easy)60ft - 2.131/8 - 9.95 @ 69.681/4 - 15.55 @ 88.46

I am going again in 2 weeks...hopin for a better time.But really waiting for February when i do my Rb25det swap

Damn thats a hell of a 60'! Howd you launch? Also how are those nismo gears, first time i heard of em.

I was very surprised at the 60'...The gears are very good. First is basically gone, second is very quick but third is most noticeable. My top speed is now 100 with the govenor...but that is at 5100 rpm. I launched at 3K with no wheelspin. I am going back and i will burn the tires at start...and try to launch at 3500 and maybe 4K...The track is quite sticky.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE NISMO LSD? OR THE ENTIRE GEAR SET FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND LSD?

It is just the 4.6 rearend ratio (ring and pinion)

Very well done. Pretty amazing considering you have extra weight and all. Even more that you only have one performance mod. You sure you're not forgetting to mention something? LOL.

I have plugs and wires...lol The kit is very light, i actually lost weight with the new bumper, but all in all i probably only gained 15-20lbs.

mileage isn't that bad...but i don't do much highway driving. My cruising speed...in 5th gear at 4K Rpm i am goin about 82. But i guess i am loosing a little bit of gas mileage but it is well worth it

where did you get those gears from and for how much? those are taller then the stock gears right?

Any nissan dealer in america can sell them to you. They are 550 after shipping.
