if i would have had more than 8psi in third i would have..but for some stupid reason my boost controller decided to act up again...that was my very first run ever going down the track with this new setup.and is byfar not my best...i got kicked off right after that pass cause i didnt come prepared by having a helmet cause i dont own one..lol...i had a buddy at the track there and he loaned my his helmet so i could have another crack at it. i should have left well enough alone though, i never made it off teh starting line cause i was running stock axles and snapped the piss out of it..lol...they had been thru 9 years of pure hell so i knew it was coming..just wish it wasnt 100miles away from home..

tires are BFG drag radials that i borrowed from my buddy that owns a TT G35..stock 18inch G35wheels too...no sidewall at all on them radials..i didnt get them hot enough aparently..next though ..next time.

Yeah I always had trouble getting my BFG's hot in the box, I think its got a lot to do with the light weight of our cars. Buy some 15-16 in mustang, or rx-7 wheels, and get some BFG"s on those. More slide wall flex. I'd do a burnout in 2nd gear as well, more rotations = more friction = more HEAT!

So you were only running 8 psi, through which turbo again? And the power you were making at the time?

Good time for the poor first gear traction. That thing really moves once it hooks! I can see cdorhout at work right now searching away for some drag radials and smaller diameter wheels. Don't lie, I know you are!

I see, your trap should much higher than that if the boost stayed the same.... Like 120 to 125 I'd imagine..... Definitely missing something.

Matt, what has Chad run thus far with his 30r setup? Or did he break to?

HAHA!! Don't you hate those dang Stock axles? Which ones have you decided to go with? Also are you on a Posi or Lsd?

Also if you want traction get the M:T Et streets, You won't be Dissapointed. Other than for Too much traction. Which Causes Bogging on the line and then your going to want a launch control to put 100 more horses at the launch to get that baby Rollin!! Its a Disease!! once you start making good power and turning good numbers you can't stop till something stops you!! LOL. I have problems with my car dropping boost in 3rd gear also!! I have yet to figure out why tho. I have a Manual boost control with the Electronic solenoid so I can switch back in forth from the stock waste gate.

Actually I did a search today for some cheap OEM 15" Mustang wheels to put some DRs on. Am I predictable or what

My best trap speed on my 3076r was 120mph. That was with very bad traction off the line though.

Copy cat....

Your trap speed might increase a mph or so with a bit more traction.

You have mail to btw.

I cant wait to get back on the track this year, hopefully I can make some pretty decent passes.
