Alot has been done to the car. it's got a precision 60-1 a/r.70 turbo, greddy intake, greddy fmic, delphi 740s, turbo xs boost controller, jwt ecu (for the z32 maf and 740s), 3" exhaust all the way back, and a aem wideband/safcII for tuning. I was running crappy w rated street tires and i forgot to let some air pressure out. i was also running only 15lbs of boost. this thing should be good for well over 20psi. (with my lack of experience i was being conservative). of course that huge turbo lags pretty bad but once it spools up it's insane. i was just spinning the tires everywhere! i'm sure a more experienced driver with a little more boost could see mid/low 13's on street tires. with slicks this thing would be crazy. it actually scared me a few times! oh yeah, and it has a s13 silvia conversion so it looks sweet too!

hmm.. weird, i ran 13.7 on low boost with stock turbo. on high boost stock sr's should be in the low 13's. my trap speed was definitely higher than 103 even when i was running 14's. btw i was running crappy falken ziex 205/55/15. how many runs did you get? not bashing you in anyways but you might want to get the tune checked out.

edit: what were you launching at? i've noticed that i have to launch much harder at the tracks. i would go for something like 4.5k-5k with like 25psi on the rear tires.

It's okay... not everyone is John Force their first time racing at the track.. everyone watching, you're hot and sweaty inside the car, worrying about braking something or redlighting,... it's nerve-wracking!

My first time at the track, I ran a 17 something... but that was in a stock EF hatch with a 1.5 liter!

Just get better tires and keep practicing! GL!

40psi is alot of tires pressure for anything. I usually run around 32psi on the street and 26psi at the track. My best is a 13.0 @ 113mph using 195/60-15 all seasons. I had wheel spin entering 3rd too. Good luck getting used to your car.

Ya 40lbs is too high for the track. I dropped mine to 20lbs in the rear. My best was 12.99 @ 114mph. This was on beat 225s. Also, don't get in the burn out box with street tires, it is best to just run them. Now if you had slicks on, get in the box.

yeah man keep it up... it definately takes some time getting used to light weight and nice power curve. You should maybe try some paractice launches on some new road. It may help you find a better place in the power band to launch on. Also be sure to monitor your response shifting. Good Luck
