Is that $8000 to spend after you buy the motor or before?

That is very good advice.

unless you have a blown engine in your 240 and need to replace it with something else.

you will probably spend 6k just to get a stock rb inside

I think I read something about you not wanting to sell you car but look, some already swapped/lightly modded rb 240sx cost like 5000, 6000

you still have your current car! you are out ahead if you buy someone elses's toy.

I probably spend like 10000 on my car since I got it but I doubt I can get anywhere near that much.

don't make the same stupid mistake, buy someone elses' toy

coming from a sr owner, get rb. it has much more potential, had I gotten rb, I would be in 400 rwhp already. don't say/think that 300hp is enough for you, becuase... it is not, ha!

Yeah I would just buy someone elses RB. And put a CA in mine for a daily and own 2 nice cars for the same price you would spend on just an RB. Go to the CA forum and talk to Boost Boy he gets CA really cheap and nice ones to. Just tryin to help out.

In the end you are gonna do what you want to do, but I am with the other guys. I personnally have spent over $10000 on my project and if i sell it I too won't get back everything that i put in it. Also keep in mind that if this is your only car when it has to be worked on then you might be without a ride for some time. MY opinion, that $8000, take it and buy someone's car with a SR or RB swap that is in good condition and keep you car as a good reliable fun daily driver. I have seen many people drift with their stock KA.
