I'm thinking the dealer gave me the wrong region disk for my map. Here's my situation:

I enter "xxx Happy Street, Atlanta, Ga, xxxxx"

The destination comes up as "xxx Happy Street, Santa Monica, Ca"-With several other cities in CA.

Can you change the region or do I have to get another disk?

Also, the weird part is that it was able to find my sister's apartment in Birmingham. So if it's a Cali disk, why can't it find my home address (the house has been there fora while - not currency issue)?

Hi there, When you are programming the address in it's possible to change your default region. If you push the destination button, as if you were adding a new destination( there may be a prompt or two I'm missing). On the screen you will see three or four sections, city, state, street. and one of them is region. If you highlight region you will be able to change it from the factory default which for some reason is always Cali. This should most likely resolve this pretty common setting adjustment. Good Luck
