I got my first ride in a SR20 powered car this weekend. It was actually my first ride in a turbo 240sx period.

My friend Dave just just a redtop swapped in by Redshift in VA. It was pretty much a stock swap with Megan 3" downpipe, N1 dual catback, K&N cone filter, Sard BOV, Greddy FMIC, and Koyo radiator. At stock boost, the car is a blast. I'm definitely hooked on the idea of a turbo 240 now. Mine will be .4L larger , but I'll never forget my first turbo experience.

This pic is before the SR20 install and before D2 coilovers. Car is A LOT more fun now...

wait can u still see it? It wont show up for me. Its not there now because I could not see the pic so I took it off.lol that's not my SR, on another forum I talk on this guy was showing off his SR build up and like everyone who read the thread set that pic as a background or sig. Well I already took it down so I'll change it to something better. It was to big any ways.

Seen rb swapped s13s and s14s out at the drags...does not impress me at all. All slower than my sr with same mods.

Hey man thats funny, Im dopping my car off at RedShift today for the swap. Does your buddy think that they did a good job installing it? tuned it well? It would be cool to get some of these answered before my swap. Cool stuff man I cant wait for my SR, My damn radiator needs to come soon so I can drop it off!!

I got to ride in a RHD RB 240sx...and i really wish i had the balls to do it from the get go...but i went with the ease of the sr...the rb20 is an amazing motor...put parts availability gave it a bad rep. and his car IS faster than mine.

by the way...were going to start doing Right Hand Drive conversions in the next 6 months or so...if ur in the sac area u may see some of our cars.

Probably, but all of them have traction issues??? I have traction issues myself and I still clock in faster times. I've seen three that ran with slicks or drag radials and still clocked in slower times; all different times of course. I run on street tires just like the few out there. Maybe all rb drivers are bad drivers??? R33 skyline out there with basic bolt ons is also slower than my s13 sr w/ basic bolt ons.
