I was reading the post about the first ride in a 240 with a sr. I haven't but i did passed out in a fast car...not literally. hahaha. I'm so used to my 240 den one day my friend took me to lunch in his rx-7...running only 7psi and it's a 12seconds car...WHen the turbo kicked in for the first time I was actually afraid. so fast. My other friend's rx-7 is a 11 seconds car. I've never drove in one but he said the other rx-7 guy was like a turle. 16psi and it puts out 400hwp. His car was build for 18....geezzzOh yea...it weights lees than 2000lbs. Maybe 1 day my CA can keep up...you think? I doubt it...hahaha

12's on 7psi? I doubt it. Unless the thing is ported beyond belief.

Which generation RX-7s are we talking about? Because a turboII FC weighs almost 3000 pounds.(series 5 is closer to that than series 4) The lightest of the bunch is the NA series 4 which is about 2,700 pounds. Now, even an FD at 2800 pounds...that's a LOT of weight reduction to make either an FC or an FD less than 2,000 pounds. I'm calling BS on the times.

2 fastest cars i have been in would be a 1996 Porsche 993 Twin Turbo S (with a few extra factory mods), and the second would be a Viper.

i use to drive around in a 400hp camaro but it was a 78 body, so it was heavy as all hell. not one thing was stock on that car. Then I also had a old 84 944 Porsche that thing was just fun to take on twisty roads.

91 Msutang vert 600ish hp, AT, and low 11s. It used to have a S/C, but with it on the owner almost killed him self and he destroyed his rear end so he took it off. He is now thinking of adding a 100 shot to the list of goodies. WOW!!! That car is a beast. Sounds soooooooo sweet.

The first fast car I rode in was a fully HKS'd RX-7 back in 94 or so. After that, it was a fully BPU Eclipse GSX. Then my buddy's Supra TT making about 500 to the wheels.

The hands down fastest car that I've ever had a ride in was a twin turbo Lamborghini Diablo.

he must've run out of gear, that'd be a 5 second car easy:D

umm...the fastest I've riden in was a 12 Second '69 Mach 1.

the fastest I've driven would be either my car or a GN.

I'm interested to know how he ran a 12 on 7psi. Considering this is an FC, stock is 6.6ish psi, and at that it runs high 14's stock. RB exhaust will push the boost up to around 11 I think, and then the car is capable of low 13's with a good driver. FD's run an 8-10-8 boost pattern with the sequential turbos so I'm doubting your friend has an FD. FC's are also lighter than FD's for the most part, the heaviest FC is the 10AE model which is around 2850.

It's 1st gen rx-7. stock weight is 2000lbs but he stripped the car to nothing. It's 12s alrite b/c he used that cclock thingy to calculate the time..i forgot wat that freaking thing is...He's running stock boost b/c he's too poor for a boost controller. hahahha. The other rx-7 eats Viper and Z06 for breakfast.

the fastest car i have ever been in was when i was in high school. My buddy and his father were working on a 1970 chevel with a 454 and 100 shots. We went out for a quick ride once (the car was NO WHERE near street legal). I remember faintly seeing the open road and then everything started to move faster, then objects becamed blurred until everything became white. The next thing i notice is my watch moving counter clockwise very quickly. When we finally slowed down I realized there were no roads only vast openness... so we turned aound and went home. It was a really fast car.

fasted car i've been in, either the F40 or a 3-liter Noble M12.all i can say is, the F40 is a proper supercar, which is to say, impracticale, scary, intimidating, and moody. all this made for a scary 165 in the wet.-Enzo

fastest cart i every drove was my z32tt. the car was dyno at 586 to the wheels. this car is how i learned how to drift it had no traction at all. the last time i drove the car it was raining. i shifted to 5th just to hit a pothole and flatten the rr tire. the next thing i remember is sitting upright in the car in a ditch. i got out ran home (i was only a 1/4 mile from my house) and reported the car stolen. i still to this day do not know how i made it out without a scratch. the worst part a bout it was my friends were up the rode watching me do this and never checked on me, but they did tell me that i rolled 8 times and it was the baddest thing they ever saw.

Its a first gen you know fb, and its a stock 6 port motor on 6psi.easymmkay240sx you shouldn't assume things. It ran a 12.9 at 114 mph. And the kicker is it only makes 230whp, and i rum a 205tire, with a 410 gear. And i'm not to poor for a boost control, i just don't wanna feel the need to turn up the boost on a stock motor w/ over 100k. And if you don't beleave me thats fine, but if you are ever in atlanta let me know and it will walk you. :D
