Attended my first RallyX in Fort Meade, FL this past weekend! WooHooo!

Drove my stock '93 240SX. Found out had bad the suspension really is and bent one of my steel wheels. I plan on swapping out for SE wheels. Will these handle rallyx better? Also was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of some offroad suspension upgrades - would like a little more clearance and better handeling.

Thnx in advance!

Rally cross? Very cool! I am not aware of anyone making anything other than lowering spring/suspension setups for these cars. You could look at a firmer set of dampers like the Koni or KYB AGX but that's not going to increase your ride height. Anyone out there with some other sources for this type of upgrade?

I WOULD GET FULL COILOVERS FOR RALLYING BECAUSE OF THE CHANGING DYNAMICS OF EACH COURSE. I WOULD ALSO MATCH THESE WITH SOME STRENGTHEND ELIPTICAL SUSPENSION ARMS, HARD TIE RODS, THICKER SWAY-BARS, STRUT BARS, AND EVEN A ROLL BAR/CAGE. THIS WILL REDUCE SUSPENSION SLOP AND BODY ROLL GREATLY ALLOWING FOR TIGHTER TURNS AND ADJUSTABILITY TO REDUCE/INCREASE REAR END SLIDING SEEING AS YOUR COMPETING IN A CIRCUIT DESIGNED FOR THE AWD CAR.

RALLY-X IS A FORM OF HYBRID RALLYING IN WHICH YOU ACTUALLY RACE WHEEL TO WHEEL AGAINST OTHER CARS AND RUN ON CHANGING COURSES FROM ASPHUALT TO CONCRETE TO GRAVEL TO DIRT AND MAYBE EVEN MUD. ITS ACTUALLY PRETTY INTERESTING ALTHOUGH LIKE IN RALLY RACING, AWD IS THE PREFERED PLATFORM AND THE TOP PERFORMER. I DON'T THINK HE IS ACTUALLY DOING RALLY-X AND IF HE IS GOOD FOR HIM AND MORE POWER TO HIM.
