Not sure if this is a genuine problem, or maybe not.

Last night when I was out driving I had the headlights on, but noticed when I looked down on the drivers side door, that on the lock/unlock rocker switch, only the "lock" icon was illuminated. Should both the lock and unlock icons be illuminated?

Guessing a bulb blew?

Can anyone confirm that the unlock icon should light up with the V's headlights are on? (maybe it's not supposed to in which case I won't complain)

Thanks!

Well, what I CAN tell you is that they're LED's, so no bulb is "blown". LEDs almost never fail, but if it has, then you'll probably need to swap out the whole circuit board because they're tiny and soldering something that small is a royal pain.

That being said... I don't know if there is supposed to be illumination there or not, I shall let the rest of the board answer that.

No, the "unlock" half does not illuminate. EV is right; the LEDs almost never blow, and should theoretically outlast the car. Nissan used LEDs to illuminate the instrument cluster, stereo, and all dash lighting as well. Smart move, as the bulbs started blowing in my 2004 Frontier by the time it hit 40,000 miles.
