First problem...1 month old car

Taking the car to the service dept tomorrow. The car only starts on the 2nd try. It just cranks on the first.

Yeah, there's supposedly a "silent TSB" or some sort. I've never had it happen on either of my V's, but there are about a dozen people here who have had it happen. This is a problem that took a while to show up, so both early- and late-'07s and '08's are susceptible to it.

its the fuel pump dude! trust us.... gotta get mine fixed next week...

I've got a bad feeling my new V has this problem...it has yet to be as pronounced as the one above, but it seems to take a second longer cranking than my old V did.

Also when reading the thread on the fuel pump problems it seemed like it happened only on cars with the conveinience package...is that true ot just me not reading close enough???

Yeah...came back from the service dept....the diagnosis is the fuel pump. It will come in wed. In the meantime, leaving the key to the "on" position for 5 secs and then starting it works fine.
