Just thought I'd start this forum off.

Anyone in a "STEM" degree/field of study?

Woohoo!! Considering I am in my second semester of Anatomy and Physiology, this should be fun! I can drop off all of my homework in here and you can do it for me! :bigthumb:

Probably won't get much help from me. I had to take a Bio course last year and it turned out to be a tough subject. Despite using physics and chemistry concepts to explain the biological processes, it still felt abstract.

Nah, I've just always been interested in science and the general breakdown of the way the world works. 90% of my free time at class is spent on the NASA website. actually some cool stuff still going on in lieu of the space shuttle discontinuation.

I actually really like this course. It's a complete breakdown of all of your body systems and the basics of how they work. I think it's pretty fascinating that I now know how every drop of your blood is processed through your heart, lungs, and the systemic circuit. It's cool.

Guess I'll buck the trend of mods posting. I have an engineering degree! Math and science have always been my strong subjects. I am a complete nerd at heart.

There's that much of a market for putting nurses to sleep?

I love...ok, really like chemistry and currently getting my degree in electrical engineering. I've thought of biochem in the past, but that's all the farther I've gone with it. How do you like that major and the classes that go with it? What about internships and job prospects?

*edit*
Not that I will be switching majors, just curious.

I graduated quite a while back ...

Degree is in Computer Science, but research and thesis was in Semiconductor Physics.

Now, I work on cellular data transport networks for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications. The Hyundai Blue Link service, for example, uses our system.
