Hello to all in this forum, iam a convert, or will be I guess, here is where Iam coming from and where I want to go, I have a 1997 firebird formula, its a nice 13 sec car, but its boring. I want to learn about turbos, and my thinking is to start with the 240's. From my reading on this site and countless others, I am interested in the sr20 swap, looks straight forward and I enjoy projects.I looked at supras about the same year as the s13's I guess it puts it as a third gen supra, my buddy has one, but too heavy. For those who have done it, what kind of setup do i need to have to put one of these cars into say 12.5 or so second quarter, Iam so new to turbos and all this import stuff and there are so many people saying "I think" its all so confusing, so if you've been there 12's that is, whats it take. I figure I sell the bird I will have ~$ 13,000 to play with, any thoughts?

k so what I understand from that thread is that I need that t3/t4 turbo injectors fuel system maf and a tune, to make ~ 400ish horse. now the sr store has a kit that when put together is supposed to be good to 350 or so horse any one have any reason to doubt this claim? Here is why I ask in the world of lt1's which I am familiar with there is the LT4 conversion kit , 425 horse advertised, it does not put that much power out. thoughts?
