First Motor Swap

Well so far so good, got the crappy motor out and going to get the better one in.For sure going to strip the other motor down.

Any tips when getting the motor back in?

here's a few money shots. Btw I did this in the cold wet rain with a tarp to keep me dry ish.



i feel so accomplished.

got the motor in and going to do exaust tomorrow. I'll post up pics and vids. not that anyone cares or anything. hahaha

still gotta change a few things around. including gas lines, caps, fender and doors.

if anyone needs some parts off a 1980 datsun longbed let me know. i'll give you a quote on parts i'm not using.

OK, the swap is officially done!its been about a week on the swap so far. seems that i need to replace the thermostat and the temp reader next to it. its not over heating , just overcooling. the damn heater seems like it will never get warm.

its all on the road, just needs paint and a corner lense, oh and some tail lights that are worth 2 s***s
