Hey Everybody,
So i just bought my first new(ish Car) yesterday. Before this I had a modded 00 maxima 5 speed, then when I moved to hawaii I bought a 99 maxima 5 speed and sold that. So for the Sentra I already ordered the Stillen Aluminum crank pulley and I'm curious What mods you guys are finding the best bang on?

I'm thinking Intake then exaust, but not sure in what order since i kinda wanna space out my expenses.

Anybody put those JWT cams on their Sentras yet? I love the sound of a cammed motor but im not sure its gonna be worth the $1000+ investment after springs and install. lmk what you guys think.

Thanks for your time

Welcome to NICO!

The B16 QR responds pretty well to bolt ons, with just intake, header and exhaust you'll be at just around 195-200whp. With an Uprev tuner, you can add to that as well. I personally don't know anyone with B16 JWT cams on their cars, but I know plenty of B15 owners with them, and they love them.

Again, welcome to NICO and make yourself at home!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Sorry to be a newb, but whats an uprev tuner? is it one of those OBDII pugin tuners or are you referring to an ECU chip?

Also about the crank pulley, what are you thoughts about that. I havent really ordered it yet but my sister lives in costa mesa where theyre manufactured. shes coming to see me in a couple weeks and I told her today to pick me up one, but i just got off the phone with my buddy whos a mechanic and tuner, he told me its not that great. is it worth the almost 300 after install?

Again Thanks for your thoughts and time

No problem man! Any questions you have feel free to post them up.

Here's Uprev: http://www.uprev.com/products.php#product_osiris It's a PC based tuner. Our cars aren't listed but it works 100% with them. Before this our only options were pretty much SAFC and MegaSquirt. Think of it as Hondata for Nissan :) You'd have to get the software and then have a tuner tune it for you (Some places have it already I think though, I'll do some research)

As for the crank pulley, I have one (Southwest Autoworks), the only thing I noticed is that it doesn't really bog as much with the A/C on. I'm sure it has some minute effect on the numbers, but it's more about removing the rotational mass from the motor, allowing it to work easier. 300 after install is pretty steep, it's really not a hard part to install if you feel like doing it yourself :)

No problem man, it's not cheap, but it's well worth the money IMO.
