I don't understand why Nissan decided it would be a good idea to not allow the CF door to not be in place while you have a card in the slot. What if you spill a drink or something in there?

Anyway problem solved. Anyone else end up doing this?

Found the culprit, piece of plastic in the way that has to go




Just cut this little bit of material off and that's all you need.

No. After you cut the plastic off you just insert the card normally and put the plug over the card.

You cant do this in the 06 model and I believe the 07 model as well because the CF card slot didn't exist for those years.

By golly you're right. Well obviously this won't work unless the car is equipped with the CF slot



Looked at pix of 07 models also and saw no slot.
