what you guys think?
thanks shop guy says if it goes any darker it'd be illegal, something like in new york, red light has to be visible from 1000ft or something?LongBeachCoupe wrote:

The thing is, its permanent, if you are in an area that cops dont care its one thing... but if they bust chops, or if you are uncertain, its a shame to have to buy new headlights because you did a permanent mod!
Dangeris installed his GTR overlays by himself, and i think Tyler (one of the other moderators) installed the full coverage ones himself too...karu11 wrote:

its possible alone i think, but it would've been easier if i had my wingman hold the blowdryer for me, i like overstretched it or something so it wasn't possible to smooth it out, then i accidentally ripped it when trying to pull it off, i was on it for like an hour. LBC's overlays are great quality, just should've had my friend with me as he's more experienced with tints, this was my first attempt ever.
Here in Cali, you cannot have ANY!! Got a ticket twice for overlays now.karu11 wrote:

Really? how much was your ticket? I haven't put my overlays on yet that I got from LBC, I'm doing that tomorrow. I got the dark gray 60%. I've read that it's a 50/50 thing. Some people have no trouble here in Cali with their tail lights smoked/tinted, and others have really bad luck.MorningViewCoupe wrote:Here in Cali, you cannot have ANY!! And if you know another language, I'd highly suggest talking to the officer in that language no matter what then all of a sudden break out crying He'll be like and let you go!LongBeachCoupe wrote:Karu, if you get pulled over, tell them the guy who installed it said its legal, and see what they say lol!
