Pretty mild, but fun none the less.

That Q must be Canadian, it has daytime running lights. Am I right?

Oh and Nala, congratulations for making a thread that isn't pure fail!

hahah ya, its the Canadian model. We moved from Vancouver, BC 4 years ago, and decided to transfer the car. in 2003 it was rearended by a 1993 pathy, 60MPH crash.

Today I went again with him, after it snowed last night, and rained. Damm it was muddy, and so much fun. I was slipping in AUTO though, weird, must be the tires.

Slipping in AUTO is normal, mine always has. Put it in 4HI if you don't want to slip.

A wise redneck lumberjack once told me, "Use 4-HI to get yourself into trouble and 4-LO to get yourself out."

when i go mudding 4 hi all the way. i love to run at highspeeds into a mud pit and watch it go over my rig!! its freaking awesome. i use 4 low if i am crawling up a hill or down hill thats it or i dont feel like using the clutch so i just throw it in 4 low keep it in first and just crawl trhough the trails

Ya its stock lol. The R50 did better, when the Cherokee went up, even in 4H, it slipped.

BTW why is the rear so low? Is it because of the bike rack?

Could be...... The car is so muddy now. There is an unpaved street near me, and I did 45 down it in the rain. Huge pot holes lol. Car is brown now.

You can check easily if its CDM or ADM without DRLs. On the drivers door jam, there should be a Canadian flag with the Canadian GOV (equivilant to DOT) specs for the car.

Yeah, pretty mild - convince your mom to buy some all terrain tires and go hit the rocks....I'll have the pics from the Canyon in a little while (my dad still has a 35mm camera.....blah.) and I'll show you what they can do with 3 wheels on the ground, nose down at 60 degrees on a muddy afternoon. Sweet. But, on the plus side, you've gotten started - good tires and you wouldn't have to be in 4-hi to make that hill. Keep wheelin', your balls will grow substantially till you do something too ballsy and break something and your mom kills you. Then, back to peach fuzz for a while.

this one guys is argueing with me on youtube that the r50 models suck at offroading and that there only built mainly for on road use. well i think he is wrong. The r50s are very capable vehicles!
