This happened last Saturday.
Nice day for a February photoshoot I thought and maybe a heli ride. Little did I know this was going to start and end with a helicopter.
Photoshoot shoot and the ensuring heli chase are below.

I'm hearing the chopper again.. but where is it? don't you just hate that feeling, you hear it before you see it.

Yeah, so they came pretty close like they wanted to land and I was in the way.. so I left. Then it still followed. Then I went by some trees.. dropped the top..
then was promptly greeted by two sherrif's dept. vehicles Seems there was a function going on and there was heightened security in addition to sherrif's dept
training nearby. Seems I was too close to the water treatment plant, no harm no foul and we were on our way.

I continued to take some pics as they drove by. That's the chopper in the background again.

So even after leaving they were still "on patrol" for the red vert

Looks great bud!

I've always loved your car, from seeing it on the forums, to in person.

Nice styling, aggressive drop, and hardtop vert!

Great Pics!!! :dblthumb:

Thanks for the pics! What kind of camera do you use? I just got my first Nikon...a D3100 and still a newb on all the cool features.

No prob Joe. I am using a canon t1I. It's a lot of reading up and playing with settings.

Like if you want the background to be out of focus, lower the fstop. That let's in more light. Then the opposite is true. Then you have to adjust shutter speed, the faster it is the more crisp the pic but less light depending on the fstop and iso. Then for rolling shots you want a slower shutter speed, like 1/100 of a sec. But you have to be steady to not get motion blur. For daylight an iso setting of 100 is good. Depending on lighting you can bump it up. Too much iso and it brings in noise.

I just took some shots from formula drift, ill post some up later.
