So...... the colors changed, and the 6MT was dropped from the roadster. Yeah. Not really feeling how this is playing out.

So...... the colors changed, and the 6MT was dropped from the roadster. Yeah. Not really feeling how this is playing out.

Nissan and Infiniti both appear to be scaling back quite liberally on all of their current model's packages and colors. 2012 is the year of reducing low selling, slow moving packages and focusing on pushing frequently demanded inventory at a larger scale than previous years, mostly due to the few months of past stock shortage and combined profit losses from the tsunami in Japan and subsequent effect on Nissan's manufacturing plants there.

The point being that those packages were eliminated only due to limited demand, thus hopefully not to many will be disappointed or agitated once Nissan officially announced the new changes in the Z model.

That tsunami was unfortunate, but I can understand the situation. Its sad to see the Z's "upgrades" for 2012. I expected a bit more, perhaps 2013 they will get the ball rolling with some changes.
