I've had a plethora of kills in the 240 (not really, like 6) and i only lost to a fully built Mustang 5.0 with drag radials and a 300 shot of NAWWWZ.

I had to christen the MR2 with a Mustang rape so....

was returning some video-games (Dynasty Warrior 4, I highly recommend for a good night's kill fest.) and as I was heading down this road towards the highway entrance and these guys in a 04 Mustang GT came up from behind really fast. I switched lanes and let them pass me, they revved at me so I dropped from 4th to 2nd (going at 30mph) and stomped on it. The thing shifted so smoothly then took off on them. He gunned it and I started slowing down at 70 and he made a loser fly by. At the light on where the street meets right before the highway entrance he was making a left hand turn.

His dirty loud exhaust was shooting small pebbles into my windshield. He slowly made the turn as I just made a wider turn and went around him. He gunned it when the car was straight and I gunned it mid-turn, he tried to keep up with me but couldn't I late-braked into the on-ramp of the highway around 40mph and then gunned it in 3rd, I got to 80 before even getting onto the highway and when I looked in my rear view mirror the fook was too far behind to make out the shape of the car. It was a very awesome experience.

Heh, it was good times.

Before I got my 240, I test drove a turbo MR2. It was some nice MID and low end... The only thing I realy didn;t like was how noisey ti is.

Yeah.. hardly any sound deadening. =( But then again it's the most ventilated engine bay i've seen. there's holes everywhere in the rear of the body.

ditto w/ GEO: especially when your passenger expects u to slow down for the on/off ramps to rte.295.

U mash on the gas pedal & the passenger goes, "oh shizz" & fumbles for a non-existent grab handle on the a pillar or roof while your car hugs the turn @ insane speeds... after the turn, u say to your passenger, "I hope u didn't soiled my car's seat, ******"

good times

The major highways in your state shouldn;t have alot of pebbles do to frequent use. But I love the oens that have TIGHT turning.

The ones that say 15mph, those are the most fun.

General rule of thumb: Any turn with a suggested speed, you can take at AT LEAST twice that speed.

that's what I thought to, it was a 40mph on 15mph turn, I usually go up that turn pretty quickly but that night there was pebbels on the floor for some reason. I slipped and almost hit the side. Just becareful guys, you can't really see pebbles sometimes 'til it's too late. Oh yeah this is off of the interstate 10 in s. CA

Normally, I'd agree with you. But, I almost killed myself one time getting off an exit-ramp on the Penn Turnpike. Ramp said "15mph" and I tried to take it at 30mph. Damn thing had a U-turn in it down a short slope! I almost slid off the ramp into a deep gully!

well, 1st, i only take high speed turns w/ the roads that i frequently know is free of gravel

for example; south jerzee is revamping the route 295 area & has smooth black tar surfaces which is where I like to take those turns "fast n furious" <haha>

I know that they're free of gravel during my dayjob as a crappy autoparts delivery driver; soo when I go out thurr @ night if I still can't goto sleep, zzzzzzipee!

I especially like the curve from 295 south to route 42; nice wide shoulders were made there w/ high concrete barriers then turns into a narrow 2-lane stretch...

Well I took a turn 30 miles over the limit(10 mph). By the time I realized how sharp it was, it was too late and I banged the drivers door into a telephone pole. Cost about $5000 and the insurance covered it.

Genaral rule of thumb: Dont take turns 30 mph over the limit in a 99 Ford Windstar. That thing has body roll like a motha ****er.

Nah GEO, but my friend was in the passenger seat. As I was losing control, I saw the telephone pole so I tried to avoid it and go off the edge of the road, maybe jump the van a lil bit, and drive down the hill. At the last moment, I realized Id probably flip the ***** in the process so Im kinda thankful that I hit the pole.

I know a guy who has rolled 6 diff cars including an explorer and a z3 he also put his dads boxter into a ditch(dog in apex while fully comited= bad) he is actualy a realy good driver, although he needs to learn when not to drive (just get to damn giddy behind the wheel of a car. Even instructors at tracks he has been to say he is good, just not smart... hehe)
