That's a really good point. I hadn't heard of straw purchases before, but I'm sure people that won't pass the background checks to purchase firearms try to get them one way or another. I hate when people try to talk over my head, so the store owner will most definitely be talking to me I want to learn anything I can anyway.Ace2cool wrote:

That's when someone ineligible to purchase a firearm for legal reasons gets someone to buy them one. It's most common when a man gets in legal trouble and his wife buys him a gun. Just giving you a heads-up on that. Make sure you get the store owner to explain everything to YOU, not your fiance. Make it obvious that YOU are buying the gun for YOU.
