Guys

I got a chance to hop on the dyno and works some bugs out of the base-map that AEM provides with their software. I am not confident that I'm squeezing every ounce of power out of this setup, however I know its safe and at this point, I'd feel comforatable pulling the motor to swap to the forged goodies.

We made 485rwhp @ 14psi however I didnt capture that dyno graph, the one I did get shows 480rwhp.

I am not sure if the Mic was having problems or what but there is a little crackling in some of the vids, so dont interpret the cracking as the car stuttering, its definately the camera!

awesomee, I agree more boost! Well, Im taking it your now removing the motor to forge it? Then placing it back in for a beating? Just working out the bugs first before you build?

Thanks and always......my aim is that this is one of the 'cleanest' 300ZX's out there......purists may disagree with the swap platform, but many cant argue with an 800hp Z thats spotless, LOL

last time i checked the z car was originaly powered by a straight six...if anything you are doing the name justice by returning the powerplant that should have been in it back to the car.

You are correct, Carl, the Fairlady Z's were I6's when they first came out.

Booztd, nice job buddy. I anxiously await the BBQ in Galesburg. Your car will get center stage in the front yard for everyone to see...that is unless someone else has a nicer car...lol.

exactly, America is always gay and gets the shaft on cool items from other countries, this whole RB issue could have been sorted out in 89 if they just had imported from the start.

I'd rather deal with a 26 over the VG any day, just looking at the difference causes less of a headache.

If Nissan would have stuck to its roots with the I6 the the Z32 would have/maybe have had the RB30 twin cam!!! That would have been nice!
